Dr. Kamal Dureja is a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon from New Delhi, India. He is a senior consultant at Max Healthcare, and is the Managing Director of two polyclinics , namely, Pulse Medical Centre in North Delhi and South City Nursing Home at Greater Kailash in South Delhi.
Dr. Kamal Dureja began his medical education in 1977, graduating in 1982 from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, with an MBBS degree from University of Delhi, India. He then went on to pursue a post-graduation degree in Orthopaedics from the same college, completing the residency programme in 1987. He was awarded a Gold Medal during his residency.
He has extensively worked in the field of Trauma and has taken a keen interest in Foot and Ankle problems. His expertise in this field continues to grow after attending several training programmes across the globe. He has been an observer at Duke University Medical Centre, Durham, North Carolina, USA, super-specialising in Foot and Ankle ailments. He has also been trained at Napean Hospital, Sydney and courses conducted by Synthes International, at Thailand, Chennai and Delhi.
